All the Teddy Bears and other creatures on this site have been designed and hand sewn by Lynne Madeley.  Many are made from mohair which is hand dyed, resulting in original and unique bears.

Bridal Bears

 

 

Miniature Teddy Bears to commemorate that special day,

as a gift for the happy couple, bridesmaids,

or to add that special individual touch to a wedding cake.

 

 
Each bear is individually made to order, enabling you to choose the colour of fur, clothing and flowers to represent the happy couple.  Mother of the Bride, or Groom, bears are also available.

 

Grooms 6.5cm 2.75 inches) tall.  £45

Bracken

A 6.5cm (2.5 inch) tall bear with embroiderd and beaded tunic and a little basket of blackberries.  Cotter and thread jointed, filled with fibrefill and steel shot.

Rowan Bear

 

This will be third and final edition of the Rowan Bear.

 

He stands at 28 cm (11 inches) tall and wears a black cassock complete with 39 tiny buttons to denote the 39 Articles of the Church of England.  His cope, mitre and stole are in cream and navy blue satin.  The mitre has embroidered dove and flame detail.

 

 

Rowan Bear is made from grey tipped mohair, has glass eyes, cotter pin and nut and bolt joints, and is stuffed with fibrefill and steel shot.  Both the bear and all his robes are entirely handmade.

Rowena

 

Rowena is a 4” (10cm) Lady Bishop cone bear, having a cone shaped body with no legs and standing on a pine base.

 

She is made from Mohair, cotton, Ultrasuede and felt and has onyx eyes and glass nose.  Her cord belt is detachable and she wears a sterling silver cross and organdie bow (colours vary).  She is cotter and thread jointed and filled with a combination of polyester fibre and steel shot for weight.
